AdSworn vs Google Ads

Two ways to reach people searching for what you sell: pay per click above the results, or sponsor the page they read once they've chosen one.

The short answer

Google Ads search ads are bought in an auction that runs on every search: you pay per click, your bid and ad quality decide where you show, and the ad stops when you stop paying. An AdSworn sponsorship buys a place inside one page that already gets search traffic: you see the page's Google traffic and searches first, pay one fixed price for 4 weeks or a year, and your brand sits inside the article people chose to read. They aren't the same product. Use Google Ads for clicks on demand; use AdSworn to be the recommendation on the page your buyers trust.

These aren't the same product

Google Ads search ads rent attention one click at a time. Google runs an auction every time someone searches, and the ad with the highest Ad Rank (your bid, ad quality and the context of the search) gets the top spot. You pay when someone clicks, and the ad disappears when you pause it or the budget runs out.

An AdSworn sponsorship rents a place inside a page. Many searches end on an article, not an ad: a guide, a comparison, a review. Google says its organic results "aren't part of Google's advertising programs", so that position can't be bought on Google. You can sponsor the page itself: your brand sits on the article the searcher chose, for the whole term, at a price fixed before you book.

What you see before you pay

With search ads you choose keywords and Google's auction decides the rest. On AdSworn you choose a page and see what's behind it first: its traffic read from the publisher's Google Search Console and Google Analytics, the searches that bring its readers, where those readers come from (search, AI assistants, other sites, direct), and one price. After it runs, AdSworn counts every view and click of your ad.

A real AdSworn listing: the page, the searches behind it, its traffic from Google, and its price.

How the money works

  • Google Ads: you set a budget and bids; the cost per click comes out of the auction and changes with competition.
  • AdSworn: the price is on the page. A banner runs 4 weeks, a featured post a year, paid once when the publisher approves. AdSworn holds the money until the ad is verified live, and refunds it in full if it never runs.

Where Google Ads is stronger

  • Pay only for clicks. You're charged when someone clicks, so there's no fixed cost if nobody does. AdSworn sells time on a page; clicks aren't guaranteed.
  • Scale and control. Any keyword, any budget, on and off in minutes, across far more searches than any set of pages.
  • Instant demand. Your ad can show on today's searches. A sponsorship starts on the dates you book, after the publisher approves.

Which should you choose?

  • Choose Google Ads if you want clicks now, can measure each one against a sale, and the cost per click works for you.
  • Choose AdSworn if you want your brand inside the guide or comparison your buyers already read, at a price you know up front, with the page's real numbers in front of you before you pay.
  • Many brands use both: search ads for the click today, a sponsorship for the page buyers keep coming back to.

Straight answers

Is an AdSworn sponsorship pay per click?

No. You pay one fixed price for a set time on a page: 4 weeks for a banner, a year for a featured post. You see the page's real traffic and searches before you book, and AdSworn counts your ad's views and clicks while it runs.

Can I pay Google to appear in its organic results?

No. Google says its search results "aren't part of Google's advertising programs". AdSworn lets you sponsor pages that already rank, so your brand appears on the article itself.

What does AdSworn charge advertisers?

Nothing on top of the listed price. AdSworn's 8% comes out of the publisher's payout. See fees.
